Matt Kennedy Wins “Young Engineer of the Year” Award

Fisher Arnold’s Director of Survey & Traffic Engineering, Matthew Kennedy, PE, PTOE, MBA, received the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) Memphis Chapter Young Engineer of the Year Award. Matt was heavily involved with the design of two dozen temporary signals and multiple interchanges on State Route 4 (known locally as Lamar Avenue). He also coordinated surveys for the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) projects surrounding Blue Oval City and was a vital part in expanding the use of drones in civil projects. In his personal life, he is an elder at his church and the proud husband to Elizabeth and father of three children.

Thank you, Christian Brothers for hosting the banquet and Doug McGowen for sharing Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW)’s vision.
