Following master planning the Forrest Street Park municipal complex, improvement phases have included enhancements to its 12-field soccer complex, including a new concession building, parking and irrigation.
Phase 2, currently under construction, includes a new amphitheater, farmers market, and expanded shared parking area. The phase is nearing completion, with the farmers market structure, featuring mortise and tenon construction with wood peg fasteners, providing a strong visual identify for the municipal park.
Plantings for the farmers market features native and edible plants, including persimmons, huckleberries, and blueberries.
