New EPA facility nearing completion

Monroe County’s new Electric Power Association building in Amory, Mississippi is nearing completion!

Much of the electric grid system in the U.S. was installed during the 1950s and many of the lines, buildings and associated infrastructure hasn’t seen improvements since that time.

Fisher Arnold is thrilled to be involved in much-needed new facilities for Electric Power Associations throughout the South and has designed new facilities for EPAs in North Central Mississippi, Northeast Mississippi and Gibson Electric in Trenton, TN. Several have included FEMA 361 storm shelters which are built to withstand F4 Tornados. These shelters are available to the public in emergencies and provide a potentially life-saving resource for nearby citizens.
