Our congratulations go to a member of our Transportation Department, Matt Kennedy, who recently became certified as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) through the Transportation Professional Certification Board Inc. (TPCB).
The Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) demonstrates requisite knowledge, skills, and ability in traffic operations engineering. As a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), the addition of the PTOE shows commanding abilities to design and analyze traffic operations based on the most current best practices for work zones, traffic signals & studies, and traffic control devices such as signs and pavement markings. The PTOE adds a layer of confidence, above and beyond the seal of the PE, for clients to know they are receiving the best designs possible.
