With the constant interface of evolving technologies, we are all forced to look at our energy resources with a completely different perspective. The past gives way to the future, where experience leads to meet solutions yet to be discovered. In this space of interconnectivity, business and development require more than grasping today’s energy grid. It takes original understanding to accurately assess for tomorrow and every tomorrow after. This is where Fisher Arnold exists and thrives.
Ozarks Electric Baldwin To Elkins 161kV Transmission
Distribution / Transmission
Fisher Arnold, Inc. provided land surveys, design and construction support for a new 161kV transmission line. Incorporated into the design was future growth, where an additional 795 ACSR conductor could be added for bulk power transmission.
North Columbia 161/13kV Substation

Southwest Bruce 161/13kV Substation
Fisher Arnold prepared plans and specifications for this new 161/13kV substation. This substation can supply 95 MVA of circuit capacity over 10 distribution feeders to serve the Bruce, Mississippi area.
Valero 161/13kV Substation
This was a turnkey design/build project performed in concert with Power Resources to add the third 47 MVA transformer and new 15kV metal-clad switch-gear line-up to serve an anticipated total load of 70 MVA at this facility. The protection and security of the plant were improved to provide two independent 161kV feeds into the plant and serving the three transformers through a 5 breaker 161kV ring bus.
