We performed a comprehensive arc flash study for Johnson & Johnson’s 770,000 square-foot building in 2013 based on information and data collected by Miller Electric Company. Johnson & Johnson has four incoming service delivery points, four generator sets, three main electrical rooms with four switchboards, 121 panelboards, 133 control panels, and many additional disconnects. Fisher Arnold has continued to assist Johnson & Johnson with keeping their arc flash model up to date and has performed coordination studies for new equipment in order to recommend breaker ratings and settings. Fisher Arnold also performed arc flash awareness and electrical safety training for Johnson & Johnson and continues to provide yearly refresher training.
