Campus School – University of Memphis

EDUCATION

Designed to renovate an existing storage building to place three primary kindergarten classrooms and two support breakout classrooms into the facility, the renovated facility added all the necessary technology packages to integrate it into the virtual learning environments provided by the primary campus school building. Connected to the main school by an aluminum canopy, it allows students to remain within the security of the campus school footprint and provides protection from the elements while providing a defined pathway for students. A new HVAC system was installed with individual controls per classroom, age-appropriate restroom facilities were added, and a full technology package for the classrooms which included mobile tablet charging carts and smart boards.
