Fisher Arnold partnered with the City of Olive Branch to plan, design, and oversee the development of a 48-acre conservation-focused park that preserves and celebrates the site’s natural resources while providing meaningful recreational and educational opportunities for the community. Funded in part through the Mississippi Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund (MOSTF), the park is designed to promote environmental stewardship, outdoor recreation, and community engagement.
The park features an extensive network of walking trails, boardwalks through protected wetlands, community gardens, a farmers market, an educational center, and a variety of nature-based learning opportunities. These amenities were carefully integrated into the landscape to enhance public access while protecting the site’s ecological character.
Fisher Arnold provided comprehensive services throughout the project, including topographic surveying, conceptual planning, construction document preparation, and construction administration. Phase 1 of the project is scheduled to open in Summer 2027 with an estimated construction cost of $2.3 million. Upon full buildout, the park is anticipated to represent an investment of approximately $15 million and serve as a premier destination for recreation, education, and conservation in the region.
