Project Engineer – Land Development

We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our Land Development team in Memphis and contribute to a wide variety of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects across the region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform design work related to Land Development projects, consisting of single-family residential developments, consisting of single-family residential developments, multi-family residential developments, commercial, industrial and institutional sites, and mixed-use developments, including, but not limited to, site planning and layout, grading and drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, sanitary sewer systems, domestic and fire distribution, roadways, and traffic control
  • Produce construction plans for land development projects, and work with the team to obtain approvals from jurisdictions having authority
  • Technical report writing

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from ABET accredited University required (master’s degree preferred)
  • Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Tennessee, or the ability to become licensed within one (1) year preferred
  • Minimum of Four (4) years responsible experience in performing land development design and plans production
  • Experience in utilization of Autodesk Civil3D in design and production of site construction plans is a must. Experience in utilization of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel in particular), ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and other hydrologic software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized work ethic
  • Strong technical writing and computer skills
