In this role, you’ll help clients navigate local, state, and federal environmental regulations, contribute to compliance efforts, and stay ahead of evolving laws that impact industries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Documentation and Technical Report Writing (Phase I ESA, etc).
- Industrial Environmental Compliance Projects
- Read and Interpret Environmental Standards and Regulations
- Industrial Air Permitting and Compliance
- Industrial Annual Waste Reporting and Client Support
- Stormwater and SPCC Project
- Technical Field Support; Soil and Ground Water Sample Collection
Some travel will also be required
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education: A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, geology, or closely related environmental field
Certifications: Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER is preferred
Knowledge and Experience:
- Entry level Environmental Scientist must have a general knowledge of industrial environmental compliance consulting or related industry work experience
- Must have strong proven technical report writing skills
- Computer skills
Skills/Competencies/Abilities:
- Microsoft Office (emphasis on Word and Microsoft Project)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work calmly under time constraints
- Excellent written communication skills
- Willing and able to support field projects in varying weather conditions
