Arlington, Tennessee
As the Town of Arlington experienced significant growth, community leaders sought to establish distinctive gateway features that would create a strong sense of identity and welcome visitors entering the town. Three key entrance locations were identified, and through a community-driven planning process, a gateway sign design was selected to reflect Arlington’s character and vision.
Because the gateway signs were located within Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) rights-of-way, the project required specialized coordination and permitting. Fisher Arnold provided comprehensive design and implementation services, including the preparation of detailed construction plans, coordination with TDOT, acquisition of all required approvals and permits, and assistance with the bidding process. Through careful planning and regulatory coordination, the project successfully delivered signature entry features that enhance the Town’s image and strengthen its community identity.
