As part of a Tennessee Brownfields assessment project, Fisher Arnold was tasked by a local medical business to investigate a medical district property. We completed a Phase II ESA in accordance with applicable provisions of ASTM E1903-97 and as approved by the TDEC Division of Solid Waste Management State Remediation Program. The subject property formerly supported a surgical instrument plating facility and a gasoline station that ceased operations in the late 1970’s. Fisher Arnold recommended that the Site receive a “no further action” letter from the TDEC-SRP division, the TDEC-SRP agreed, and the finding allowed the property to be sold to a local University for a critical development that has enhanced the Medical District area of downtown Memphis.
