INTEX Plastic Brownfields Investigations
Fisher Arnold investigated a potential leaking chemical underground storage tank (UST) and closed Hazardous materials landfill on behalf of an active industrial manufacturer of a commercial plasticizer. The effort included installation and monitoring of a number of ground water monitoring wells since 2002.
Under the guidelines of the Mississippi Brownfields program, Fisher Arnold prepared the Site Characterization Report, which required preparation of a Site Conceptual Model, and accurate assessment of data gaps at the facility.

Comprehensive land development services for a downtown Memphis electric utility service yard and substation expansion. Services included Phase II ESA and comprehensive remedial plan preparation and oversight involving contaminated soil removal and ongoing Soil Management Plan preparation and site closure reporting.
Uptown Memphis – Phase I & II Investigations
Phase I & II Assessment
UPTOWN Memphis will transform distressed city neighborhoods and public housing projects into a revitalized mixed income community, and reintegrate the neighborhood into the social and economic fabric of a resurgent Downtown. Within this area are the now vacant public housing projects, Hurt Village and Lauderdale Courts. Anchoring the region to the west are the Mississippi River and Mud Island with its prosperous Harbor Town new urban development, and to the south is the St. Jude medical complex undergoing a billion dollar expansion.
Environmental Services Duck River
Fisher Arnold completed greenway and streetscape improvements related to the City of Columbia, Tennessee’s Duck River Greenbelt. Specific project tasks included modifying existing pedestrian circulation patterns to meet with current ADA requirements and provide solutions for extreme transitions in topography as it relates to walks and trails. Other components included utility relocation from overhead to underground, preparation of landscape plans, selection of site furnishings and assisting the City of Columbia during the bid process.
