Based on Phase I ESA on a former Memphis area textile manufacturing plant, F&A completed a limited Phase II ESA project on the subject property. Phase I ESA findings included the discovery of two above ground solvent tank areas, three potential fuel storage areas and suspected storage and use of pigments and paint related materials.

Limited Phase II sampling included ground water and soil samples, which were analyzed for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and selected heavy metals.

Based on the Phase II sampling program, the RECs identified during the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment were interpreted to pose no unreasonable environmental risk under a continued industrial land use scenario. No further actions were recommended for the property, and further use of the industrial property was able to continue.
