A Memphis area manufacturer produces fresh and active dry yeast for the baking industry. To ensure continued operations in the event of fuel curtailment, diesel fuel is maintained on-site in above ground storage tanks. The volume of the tanks require the development and maintenance of a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan in accordance with the EPA Oil Pollution Program at 40 CFR 112. F&A recently prepared the updated SPCC Plan verifying that the recently amended regulations were met. The updated plan included a detailed drawing of site features, showing drainage patterns.
