Fisher & Arnold assisted Shelby Couny Government with the design of a realignment of Fite Road to relieve traffic congestion, improve connectivity between northeast Shelby County and east Memphis, and improve safety issues associated with an at-grade crossing of the Canadian National-Illinois Central Railroad. A Categorical Exclusion was prepared and approved by TDOT for the project corridor that took into consideration a streambed realignment and two superfund sites along the northern border of the proposed alignment.
